On second thought

Unless of course, the steering wheel is sometimes on the right.  I wouldn't know.  I've always been more to the left.

News

BBC World News, yesterday morning:  Did I really hear this?  --In countries such as Sweden and Britain, where cars on the highway drive on the left-hand side of the road, oddly enough, the steering wheels are also on the left.-- I'm thinking, Now does that statement make any sense at all?  Darn it, I must have heard it wrong.  .....  Many hours later (Yes, this is my actual thought process)...Oh, I get it!  It was a joke.  (Smile)  Never mind......Emily Latella in person

I don't know what to do with the poll i started.  I don't know how to use it, how to open it.  I would like some help with this but don't know how even to find the help.
I once wrote a funny article on the influence of Spanish on American English.  I sent it to the magazine called American Speech.  I wonder if they are still in business.  They recommended I start a blog.  As soon as i find that article, I will type it here.  It might be more timely now.  One of my friends who read it thought it might start a war between the Castillians and the others in Spain.  Or perhaps it might offend some Hispanic people today.  At the time I doubted it and still do.
How could there be something rather than nothing.  why wouldn't there be?
"Q" is still my friend, but as before, we are limiting contact with each other, due to irreconcilable differences.

Re: "Q"

If anyone who has read this blog before remembers previous posts about a neighbor I've called "Q", yes, I am still having problems with her.  Rather than OD'ing on tranquilizers I've chosen to limit my contact with her as much as possible.  I urge all that have "friends" who might as well be "enemies" to wisely consider cutting off or at least limiting contact with these people.
